Visualising IATI data for technical newbies

In the ‘Aid Development Sector’, there is a little buzz going around about the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) standard, which sets guidelines for publishing aid data. So data is stored and published in machine-readable format so that it's easier to find, use and compare.

But what does this data look like, and how can you visualise it?

Inspiring and Sunny Open Drinks

Last Friday we did it a little different: due to summer holidays’ we took a side track of our ‘once every two months’ Open tea schedule’, and had Open Drinks on the 5th of July, just before everyone leaves for quieter places.

The Open Drinks were at the AmLab in the beautiful 1%CLUB office, we had an interesting small group of people and the atmosphere was great.
