Open Tea programme, March the 8th

We welcome you to join us on march te 8th, on the first Open Tea of the new year!
We will have an inspiring, open and informal networking meeting for all stakeholders and all parties interested in Open Data, Open knowledge and Open development initiatives.
We will establish the current state of affairs and developments.
We define challenges and bottlenecks, and share new ideas and inspiring examples and define future goals.

Event Details

The next "Open for Change" network meet-up is on Thursday March 8th, again at the gorgeous AmLab in Amsterdam, hosted by 1%CLUB, Akvo and TextToChange.

  • From 15.00-17.00 there will be an "Open Tea" to share updates and discuss where Open for Change is heading. We want to discuss the developments around open data in both a national and international context
  • From 17.00 onwards, we'll have open networking drinks

We would like to share new ideas and projects and like to hear your news too! Get in touch if you want to present.

  • Network updates: open mic for anyone who has news or updates to share
  • SPARK: the first Dutch NGO that is publishing in IATI will share how they did it, what they learned, and how you can do it.
  • Open Aid Register: Ruth Del Campo will demonstrate the tool she has developed to help NGOs publish their project information in IATI, and invite you to use it for your own projects.
  • TNO: Marijn Rijken will discuss the first outcomes of the research into Vision and Roadmap on Open Data Strategies for the Development Sector
  • ODDC Kenya: Bart Lacroix will give an update on the plans to have the next Open Data for Development Conference in Nairobi.
  • Open for Change: how we envision the role and the organisation of Open for Change
