Open Development Camp 2013
Last week Thursday & Friday was the Open Development Camp 2013.
The organizing team and I would like to thank everybody for the great energy, ideas and participation from people that attended the event but also from everybody that participated online via twitter and watched the livestream. We had a great 2 days!
In this blog I don't want to focus on my experience of the event, but show the particpants' perspective.
Because as a popular saying goes: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
Already five great blogs have been written by people that attended ODC 13:
The first blog is written by Lotte Olminkhof, an intern at 1%CLUB. Her blog is called 'Yes, we are open for change' in which she uses text and ten tweets per day to summarize the event.
Th second blog that is written is by Anna van Oijk from ActionAid. Her blog is called 'Open up everything' and shows her thoughts on the second day of the Open Development Camp (in Dutch).
The third blog is from Zara Rahman of the School of Data called 'Data Expedition at Open Development Camp' she described the event and the data expedition the School of Data organised at ODC13.
The fourth blog is in German and written by Markus Schmeiduch and is called 'In Retrospect: Open Development Camp Amsterdam' he also added some great photos.
And the last one is written by Shreya Basu from Publish What You Fund and is called 'Aid transparency at the Open Development Camp'
If you have written a blog post, have any comments, questions, suggestions or would just like to share your opinion about ODC13? We would love to hear it!
You can e-mail to Josje@openforchange.info or twitter to us @open_for_change #ODC13
We hope to see you all next year at ODC14!
